Good game.

Improvements:
- Projectiles more visible (you could add a red outline for example)
- Add a flag or something to indicate to the player where you are supposed to go to win
- Platform on the first stage a hard to distinguish from the background

Good luck on you gamedev journey!

Thanks for the tip!

Good runner game!
I really like the intro and the musics.
The title font you chose is really hard to read.

Here are some ideas that would make the game better in my opinion:
- Try to add a more unique and visible effect when you are hit, the one you put looks too much like the one used when moving (the blue particles).
- Add a track render on the character, that would be great I think.
- Add dust trail particles on the character ex: https://youtu.be/8QPmhDYn6rk?t=960
- Increase the volume of the sfx when you get hit.

I hope to see more from you :).

Thank you for your feedback! I'm planning on adding more content to the game so when I do I will take your ideas into consideration. I think a dust trail would be a great idea!

It looks more like an animation than a game, I can't interact with the game.

You should add a description or a tutorial, i'm kinda lost about what the game is about or how to play it.

Williamiscool3 responds:

Okay

If only we didn't have to restart from the beginning.

Edit: I forgot to say that I had fun even though it's simple.

IF-dev responds:

Thanks for your feedback,

It’s a big part of the game to restart when you los.
I’m sorry if this mechanic doesn’t mach up with what you would have wanted.

Sincerely, Kees van Beilen.

Not a fan of puzzle game but it's a good game though.
Is it normal that I got no sound on the game ?

edit: Indeed my sound volume was low, sry ^^'

CUTFUJIgames responds:

Sound should normally start after the first click, you could have turned it off in the options, if you didn't do anything and it still doesn't work, let me know, I'll be grateful

edit: I had a small heart attack, but I'm glad that everything works :)

Really nice for a game made in 3-4 days.

orange08 responds:

thanks, Wombart!
Game development is not my main work so I try to give myself a short time frame for each game I make on the rare occasions that I make them.

Looks really good for a game jam prototype !

MartinTale responds:

Thank you! ;)

The game doesn't seem to load :(

bensonbob responds:

Im sorry, this was the first game I ever made,I don't know how to get rid of it. :(

The controls feel non-intuitive, maybe you could add the jump on the up arrow.
The platforms box collider are too small I think, you could try to make them bigger.
If you dash into a platform, you get stuck.

Hope to see your full game :D

aathishbaws responds:

Thank you for your critique!
I used z to jump because you will be using the direction arrows to control the direction of your dash, which can also be up!

When testing, I had bigger platforms but found that to be too easy and you could play basically forever.

Dashing into a platform from the side was something that happened all the time at one point, I managed to do a partial fix so it happens much less. Still investigating a full fix, I'm trying to learn more about Unity's physics to understand what's going wrong.
