The loading time is taking forever.

Ilumav responds:

I'm really sorry man, I'm currently working on it...
You can download the game from itch.io:
https://ilumav.itch.io/cursed-apocalypse
I will try to fix it soon😔
It's because the game is literally 198mb

Look like a good game but I don't understand how to play it.

I don't understand how you link a bomb to a detonator and the tutorial seems to bug when you start it a second time, I get the first message forever.

Maybe you could add the tutorial in the description.

I find the text hard to read, I think the text size is too big.

Hope it helps.

Poishiche responds:

Thanks for telling me ! I'll be working on the tutorial !
When you buy a bomb then drag it on the floor a fuse appears (grey line).
You need to drag the fuse to a detonator (the box with brown T on it).
You should hear a little sound effect and the fuse should turn green.
I'll add all the informations in the description.

The game looks really good, I really like the cartoonish style, the SFX and the musics.

One problem was that it took me so much time to find the opponent that I kinda lost the motivation to play after finding him.

Maybe you could show his start position in the beginning?

SeasonQuest responds:

Thanks for the feedback :), i just updated the game, revealing the enemy commander.

The uploaded project isn't a game ?
I got a blank white screen with a bunch of buttons, looks like a level editor.

Sponix responds:

Yes, I'm having a hard time uploading it. Might need some help. This is the actual game.

Good game, but the game lack of feedback (animation, enemy death sound, etc)

I could not continue to play the game since my browser crashed when I reached the level with the turrets. Pretty sure it's related to the game.

DEMOSKRON responds:

I really appreciate your feedback! I hope I will be able to do some changes to it and solve the problem in the future.

Update: I played through the game again and I managed to play it all the way through without a problem. I would really appreciate if you could, to give it another try. I would love to see your feedback for the rest of the levels.

A nice little game, I really like the look of the explosion and the sound effects.

The buttons to buy weapons doesn't feels like buttons, they feels like normal text, maybe add a square sprite around the buttons to make it more explicit that they are buttons.
More health for the player could be nice too.

Anyway, good game !

IamFilthyCasual responds:

Hello and thanks for feedback!!
I’m currently working on adding some more health and/or some kind of help for the player (turret or something like that) and I will change the buttons too :)
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks again!!

Good gameplay idea but a bit difficult, maybe you could increase the ball hitbox and reduce the player hitbox.
And the music is really repetitive.

ZAX-DEV responds:

yeah we made it so quick for the game jam so its not in the best form , thanks for trying and commenting tho

Nice game, smooth gameplay, even if I don't know how to use the money. Is there a shop or something ?

Lukewasthefish responds:

Money is just the score for the game, glad you enjoyed!

Not bad, a bit too easy and not enough content (items, enemies...)

Nikita-Kulyov responds:

Yes, I agree. It's my first experience with unity, so I'll be better over time.

A good retro platformer, seems to be no bugs.
I don't really like the music but it fits well to the game.

I wonder how much did it takes you to make it ?

ryogo responds:

Thanks for playing the game!

Work on this game began a year ago when I started to learn using Construct 2. I had no experience in game development prior to that. I'm working a full-time job so I could only work on the game during my free time.
